Electrician (Common Core) Program
The SD38 Youth Train in Trades Construction Electrician Foundation Program provides students with the theory and practical skills necessary to enter the electrical trade. The student will learn to plan, assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and systems in commercial, industrial, and marine facilities. Upon successful completion of this program, along with the required work experience, students will receive the first of four levels towards their Red Seal certification.

Program Details
- students attend BCIT’s satellite campus full-time at North Delta Secondary
- receive 20 Grade 12 credits (5 courses) and BCIT credits (48)
- earn Level 1 technical training with SkilledTradesBC (Electrician) and credit for 350 work-based training hours
