Please check our "Events and Dates" tab for information and view our program brochure here.  Our "application season" has started and due dates for specific program applications are found in our brochure.  "Our Programs" tab provides details about our programs, most of which are "dual credit".  Program-specific applications are found on the respective program pages.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR CAREER PROGRAMS NEWS THAT WE WILL PERIODICALLY HAVE YOUR SCHOOL SEND OUT.  GO TO OUR MAIN PAGE FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS (click link on the right).

WHAT IS DUAL CREDIT?

Dual credit makes it possible for grades 11 and 12 students to take post-secondary courses and receive credit towards both high school graduation and post-secondary credentials.  In addition to providing the post-secondary credits, these courses count as elective credit at the Grade 12 level.  As such, in Richmond SD38, tuition is covered for our dual-credit courses/programs offered.  Students are responsible for covering associated books, fees, equipment etc. costs.

FINDING INFORMATION ABOUT OUR OFFERINGS IN SD38

Please refer to the email and phone number listed above.  When our SD38 Career Programs Office has upcoming information sessions or events to be made aware of, an email will be sent to families via your child's secondary school.  We also have slat boards inside or just outside each secondary school's counselling area with information and our Youth Train in Trades program applications.
