Richmond RCMP Youth Academy

RCMP photoThe Richmond RCMP will be offering the 4th annual Police Academy in the Summer of 2025 (location TBD).  Applications, interviews and fitness testing all comprise the application process.  See note below regarding applications.

The Richmond RCMP Youth Academy provides:

  • an immersive five-day day camp in and is being held for one week in summer (dates TBD) 
  • a unique opportunity for successful applicants currently in grades 10-12
  • first hand experience in policing through real-world scenarios modelling police training in a safe and controlled environment
  • opportunities to learn about police duties, criminal justice, fitness, teamwork, organization, public speaking, self-reliance, and discipline
